It is possible in Employment History > Terms to show both the actual and notional salary and whole time equivalent factor based on the details held on that record.
If you wish for the salary to be displayed, tick Display Salary in HR Parameters > Employment.
The values displayed in the actual salary and whole time equivalent factor fields are based in the Salary Grade, Scale Point, Whole Time Equivalent, Weeks Per Year and Hours Per Week fields that were held in this employment history record when a salary was last applied to this employee.
The values used can be seen in the relevant Salary History record.
The value shown in the notional salary field is based on the Salary Grade, Salary Point, Whole Time Equivalent, Weeks Per Year and Hours Per Week that are now held in this employment history record – assuming that a salary was applied to this employee using a default review date.
The default review date is obtained firstly by looking at the salary grade record for the salary grade held on this employment history record, and if this is blank, looking at the default date held in HR Parameters > Employment. If this date is also blank then no review date is established and so no notional salary can be calculated.
